Great Will Be Your Responsibility

There is a special group of parents here that the boys and parents of Cub Scout Pack _____ wish to honor at this time. These people are the Den Leaders, Webelos Den Leaders, and Pack Committee Members.

Will they come forward and form a line facing the rest of the pack?

These volunteer leaders not only guide their own boys through Cub Scouting, but believe strongly enough in the program that they are willing to devote some extra time and effort to making the dens and the pack GO.

For this the Cub Scouts and parents of Pack _______ salute you. (Round of applause)

I have asked one father, mother and their son (Mr. and Mrs. _____ and _____to represent the entire pack by presenting these badges of office to our den leaders and committee members.

And in awarding these badges we are also presenting you with RESPONSIBILITY--for great will be your responsibility as our leaders; HARD WORK--for that's what makes the pack go; ENTHUSIASM--for it is contagious and accomplishes much, and GRATIFICATION--for that will be the reward of your efforts.
